This is exactly the kind of resort the island has been missing. The location near East Beach is perfect — close enough to everything like the Strand, Pleasure Pier, and Moody Gardens, but still feels like its own relaxing getaway.
From what’s been announced, it sounds like it’s going to have everything — pools, a lazy river, restaurants, and that laid-back beach vibe Margaritaville is known for. It honestly feels like it’ll bring a whole new energy to the area.
As a former local and having grown up in Galveston, I’m especially looking forward to having a true “staycation” spot right here at home where my family can gather and create new memories. Not having to travel far for us to get that resort experience is a huge win. Can’t wait for this place to open!
